The Coalition for Free and Fair Elections “Pod lupom” has created a unique database of recommendations for improving the electoral process in Bosnia and Herzegovina, bringing together in one place all recommendations made over the past ten years by the Coalition “Pod lupom,” the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), and the Central Election Commission of BiH (CEC BiH).
This database is a valuable tool for citizens, institutions, and civil society organizations, as it provides an overview of all key recommendations related to electoral law reforms and strengthening the integrity of elections in BiH.
The database’s special value lies in the ability to filter recommendations by several criteria: implementation status, type and nature of the required change, the institution to which the recommendation is addressed, the year it was issued, and the organization or institution that proposed it.
The Coalition “Pod lupom” emphasizes that the database is not intended solely for experts and institutions, but also for all citizens who wish to understand the state and challenges of the electoral process in BiH, as well as the concrete steps that can be taken to make elections freer, fairer, and more aligned with the highest democratic standards. In this way, citizens can gain insight into what has been proposed to improve elections, how much the competent institutions have achieved so far, and what still remains to be addressed in the future.
