After organizing the first and the second modules in Banja Luka and Sarajevo, the third module of the Academy for Political Leaders in BiH was organised in Mostar. The main topic of the Academy’s 16th generation, which has been running since 2007, is the Reform of Electoral Legislation, which is consistent with ODIHR recommendations. While organizing this module, we gathered 22 participants, respectively representatives of social science students and representatives of the youth of eight political parties. They all coming from ten cities and municipalities in the Mostar region and beyond.
Participants had the opportunity to listen to a lecture by 11 lecturers/experts who informed them on the Electoral Law, the Election Process and everything related to Electoral Reform.
After this, the final event will be organised in Sarajevo, where we are going to gather the most active participants from the Banja Luka, Tuzla and Mostar regions, as well as young people from the Sarajevo region. All modules will result in the preparation of a document on the participants’ opinions pertaining to the amendment to the Electoral Law.
The final event will be organised in Sarajevo, when the results of the participants’ work and agreements on Electoral Reform will be presented in line with ODIHR recommendations.
Total 62 young people coming from student organizations as well as from 17 political parties in BiH (coming from 31 cities/municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina), participated during this 16th generation of the 2021/2022 Academy for Political Leaders in BiH.
25 of them spoke on the T.A.L.K.S – Freedom of the Speech Platform.
