While acknowledging that the law does not formally recognize complaints submitted by the Coalition, the list can nonetheless be a valuable resource for the CEC at this time, particularly as recounts of certain polling stations are under way.
The Coalition believes that this information can serve as the foundation for evaluating the elections, as well as the work of certain local election commissions and other relevant electoral processes.
The Coalition expects the CEC to consider these reported irregularities and to take further measures to resolve those that they substantiate as violations of the law.
After receiving feedback from the CEC, the Coalition will inform the public about the results of the process of reporting election irregularities. In December, the Coalition will publish a final report on its observation of the 2014 General Elections in BiH, which will include recommendations for the improvement of the electoral legislation.
