Ahead of the 2024 Local Elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), the Coalition for Free and Fair Elections “Pod lupom” has created a new online tool, “My Election Experience,” intended for all BiH citizens.
The goal is to actively involve citizens in the electoral processes and provide them with a platform where they can share their election experiences, whether positive or negative.
Share your positive experiences with us! Maybe you were impressed by a moment in the election campaign, or you simply decided to go out and vote. Positive stories can help highlight best practices. Be an example for someone who hasn’t voted yet and encourage them to finally exercise their right, says Pod lupom.
Pod lupom also emphasizes that all negative experiences can be reported on the online platform.
You observed vote-buying, illegal poster placement, or party members in the position of president or vice president of polling stations? These are all examples you can report.
All negative experiences that indicate violations of electoral rules will be reported to the relevant authorities. The aim is for those who break the law to be held accountable, sanctioned, and prevented from repeating these actions.
How you can share your experience?
Sharing your experience is simple. Citizens can visit the online platform via the following link: https://mojeiskustvo.podlupom.org/
On the platform, you can describe your experiences, send photos, or upload videos!
Pod lupom announces that a public map of all election experiences in BiH will soon be available.
Why is this important? Your opinion, whether praise or criticism, directly influences the improvement of the electoral process. This map of elections in BiH will reflect the real needs and expectations of citizens and make it easier to identify and address irregularities,” concludes Pod lupom.
