The Coalition “Pod lupom” held a meeting with representatives of the CEC BiH. The main topic of the meeting was to discuss the 2020 Local Elections in BiH scheduled for November 15, 2020. ( i.e., December 20, 2020 in the City of Mostar).
Through the STEP project, the Coalition “Pod lupom” is gathering CSOs which, among other, observe the election process in BiH through all its phases.
The Coalition “Pod lupom” announced an election observation mission for the 2020 Local Elections in BiH, which involves about 100 long-term observers (LTOs) coming from over 90 CSOs and informal groups.
The main topics of the meeting were organizational aspects of the 2020 Local Elections, procedures for accreditation of election observers and strengthening institutional cooperation with the CEC BiH, which will be a significant segment of common future activities along with potential common advocacy of certain legal and other improvements in the election process.
The meeting was attended by high-ranking “Pod lupom” officials – Mr. Vehid Šehić, President of the Strategic Committee, Mr. Dario Jovanović, Project Manager, Mrs. Jelena Tanasković Mićanović, Public Policy Coordinator and Mr. Ivica Ćavar, Advocacy Coordinator.
