Your ballot to elect mayor/city mayor in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be valid if:
-mark the box before the name of only one candidate
Your ballot for the election of councilors in the Municipal Council, i.e. councilors in the Municipal Assembly, councilors in city councils i.e. councilors in city assemblies and representatives in the Assembly of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be valid if::
-mark the box before the name of only one political party, or coalition or list of independent candidates, or the name of one independent candidate
-mark the box before the name of one or more candidates within the list of only one selected political party or coalition or the list of independent candidates;;
-mark the box before the name of only one political party or one coalition or one list of independent candidates and mark one or more candidates within that selected political party or coalition or list of independent candidates.
In constituencies where members of national minorities are also elected, you have the opportunity to vote for a member of a national minority by:
-mark only one name on a special list of candidates belonging to national minorities.
Note: If you have decided to vote for a member of a national minority, you cannot vote for a political party or coalition or a list of independent candidates or an independent candidate at the same time, because if you voted for both options your ballot would be invalid.
The 2020 Local Elections will be organized in accordance with the health guidelines prescribed by the competent state, entity, cantonal, and institutions of the Brčko District in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the conditions of the COVID-19 epidemic.
