The process to verify the applications of Political Parties and Independent Candidates for participation in the 2022 General Elections has been completed

Sarajevo, June 3, 2022 – Considering the Report pertaining to the process of checks of Applications of Political Parties and Independent Candidates, once the deadline for elimination of shortcomings has passed, the Central Election Commission of BiH at today’s session ended the process of verification of Political Parties and Independent Candidates to participate in the upcoming 2022 General Elections, to be held on Sunday, October 02, 2022.

The shortcomings in the application were not remedied by one political party and the application for participation of this political party in the 2022 General Elections was rejected (BOSANSKA NARODNA STRANKA B.N.S.-V.N.D. eng. BOSNIAN PEOPLE’S PARTY B.N.S.-V.N.D.)

In accordance with the Instruction on deadlines and sequence of election activities for the 2022 General Elections, the deadline for submitting applications for the certification of coalitions and the list of independent candidates is June 06 to June 14, 2022 until 16:00.
