In April 2025, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CEC BiH) imposed fines totaling BAM 60,000 based on reports submitted by the “Pod lupom” Coalition regarding electoral irregularities. The total amount of fines issued for electoral violations based on the Coalition’s reports has reached BAM 342,000 as of April 2025.
In April 2025, the CEC BiH intensified the processing of a total of 442 reports submitted by the Coalition concerning various electoral irregularities and issued 115 responses, in which, in the majority of cases, the complaints were dismissed for various reasons—often inconsistent with decisions made in previous cases.
The “Pod lupom” Coalition will conduct an additional analysis of these responses and will raise concerns regarding the avoidance of sanctions for proven irregularities in communication with the CEC BiH and other relevant stakeholders.
